Bona Culina

In the fall of 2024, I had the pleasure of working on a collaborative project to bring a product to the shelves at the University of Cincinnati owned Adaapt storefront near Findley Market in Cincinnati. The designers I had the pleasure of working worth were August Ransick and Loren Mitchell, two incredibly talented industrial designers in the industrial design program at UC. Together we created Bona Culina, a spice grinder and functional statement piece that we hope elevates the kitchen and cooking experience.

Brand Development

The goal with the branding was to create a luxury but handcrafted feel. The name was selected for the meaning “good kitchen” and since the product is made out of resin, we wanted to have a “sea glass” feel.
